SHE IS KNOWN FOR HER VERY PERSONAL APPROACH with the singers she works with, being able to pin point the needs of the voice and the singer, inspiring them to discover their true creative direction and most natural sound and how to manage all of this in the world of being aprofessional musician.
  
  Credits: With OVER 28 YEARS of performing experience and training with the best teachers and coaches (LA, NY, NASHVILLE, CHICAGO), thousands of singers have come thru the doors of The Vocal Studio. Karyn has studied in the physiology, health of the voice, spirituality of voice and holds a command of VOCAL TECHNIQUE AND LIVE AND STUDIO PERFORMANCE COACHING (stage fright anyone?) for the voice (many methods including speech level singing (the famous Grammy technique), Linklater, Bel Canto, Douglas Stanley to name a few) no matter what style of music.

 For many years she has sponsored and given workshops and conferences under What a Voice Productions!  (Seth Riggs, Katie Agresta, Claude Stein, Mark Baxter, Lis Lewis,  etc.l) She is a MEMBER OF INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATION FOR VOICE PROFESSIONAL THE VOICE FOUNDATION, is a PUBLISHED WRITER having written articles and had columns for many  publications as Showcase Midwest, The Local Buzz, Singer's Voice, and Angel City Voice, (Los Angeles -now called Singers' Magazine), Featured speaker, special presenter and panel member for various colleges and entertainment industry organizations including ASCAP, NARAS, Silver Lining Entertainment (Backstage Pass To The Recording Industry - New Jersey), Columbia College to name a few. She also has hosted her own talent cable show.and has done jingle and voice-over work.

SINCE ARRIVING IN MAUI  she has a steady flow of clients (internationally) who  come to be creative and relax to prepare for touring and also record in Lo-Boy Recording Studio.  Locally she has  been a judge for Hawaii Stars,  worked with many local talents (Ekolu, Malino etc.) and talent from Hawaii's Luaus and Ulalena, pageants -including Miss Maui, Miss and Mrs Phillipino, Miss Starlet, many Christian Music worship teams, weddings, hotel and corporate talent and many musicians and bands around the islands.

Karyn has TAUGHT AT MANY COLLEGES and developed course work for  Commercial Vocal Styles (Non-traditional Styles of Singing). She is teaching at Univeristy of Hawaii/MCC Music and Humanities Department. 

Karyn has been CREDITED in coaching and/or co-producing vocals on over 150 SELF-PRODUCED OR RECORD LABEL RECORDINGS PROJECTS for singers.
